But for some reason that I can't decipher, the creators of Wattpad give these new writers praise and put them above any other work that is good. ![]() ![]() They should be given genuine criticism and feedback. But these works shouldn't be praised unless they're good, which most of them aren't. Obviously, people were writing for the first time, which is great, it's always good to see people get into writing. I went from seeing genuinely creative and inspiring works on my homepage, to OneDirection fanfictions and cliche love novels. Wattpad started great, there were creative and talented writers doing what they did best. A place where you can post your works for completely free and get valuable criticism for said work, that sounds fantastic. ![]() Now don't get me wrong, the concept of Wattpad is great, fantastic even.
